africana, in most of the cases immigration authorities do ask for 6 monthly bank statement as said above..Very few are lucky if they were asked to present 2-3 monthly bank statement..Tell your husband to call you on VISIT VISA which can be extendable upto 1+5=6months..He can proceed for making FAMILY VISA further if he meets all criteria and norms set by the QATAR LAW..

It even requires your marriage and educational certificates to be attested from your embassy, foreign affairs and then again in QATAR..Make all documents ready first..Follow the link below to know what's the procedure for FAMILY VISA...

KHATTAK how long time did it take you to get yours done? was it 1 month,2 months or more?

Mainly depends on the Bank's Statement. The Immigration authorities normally ask for six months bank A/C statement to verify the salary transfer...in my case, luckily three months' statement worked for me. So, its about luck.
