how to get a visit visa for my beloved mom --- please H E L P !

update: IT'S MOTHERS DAY BUT SADLY, I WASNT ABLE TO MAKE HER HAPPY...I APPLIED FOR HER VISA TODAY, AND FOR THE 3RD TIME, THEY REFUSE TO ACCEPT MY DOCUMENTS :(

HOWEVER, SOMEBODY FROM THE SAME OFFICE ADVISED ME TO TRY AGAIN TOMORROW, AND LOOK FOR MR. AL ATTIYA...

IS THERE ANYBODY WHO KNOWS THIS GUY???

thanks bullong! yes, my mom and I are both having the same last name. actually, you'll never know that I am already married, as I havent changed my last name yet.

speedy, i went to the immigration office early in the morning last feb, i was the 1st in the queue..so im 100% sure that they are not yet stressed at that time, there was no reason at all to be rude :(

can anyone check if the following documents are complete

- copy of my passport, visa, and qatar ID

- copy of my mom's passport

- salary certificate (CR copy with authorized signatories of the bank attached)

- my last 6 months bank statement

- my birth certificate (proof of our relationship)

- filled application form (arabic)

...should i also include my husband's passport/visa copy and employment contract? and what's their office timings?

..as per my experience, the immigration can issue family visit visa under your sponsorship if and only if you have the same FAMILY NAME with the person you want to take in here. If you cannot process a family visit visa then apply for the alternative, apply for Tourist visa for 1 month through agents,, there are lots of agencies processing visa in town.

mandalay, my company has no objection for me to sponsor my mom. im just confused with the real policy regarding visit visa for mothers. my male officemate went to immigration to apply for his mom in law's visa but they told him his wife must b d one to apply (his wife is under his sponsorship)...but how come when i applied for my mom, they told me d opposite thing...

do u also have any idea regarding immigration's office timings? is the visa that we can apply from the airport extendable also, or valid for 1 month only?

for your Visa Mum, Papers and conditions have to complete + the person which he talk to the immigration has to be professional and knows how to explain to him.

preferd personally you go and apply again , explaining your emand.

also you try airport immigration tourist visa Qatar Airways.

I hope you can get it done for you, and always remeber that we are all employees and sometimes we have pressure at our work, so we have to give execuses and understand that nothing is personal we are all professionals. the same you go to him after pressure time you'll find him smiling for you .

and allow me to say many thanks to the government departemtns they are really doing excellent job .. for example 5-8 minutes you can get your R.P renewed at any immigration counter . in 1 day work visa is issued.

Why are u trying to irritate urself like that, u wrote everything about ur case, u went to all direction , wonder why don't u believe that there are laws here and u working and living comfortable here and u have to accept the law or u can as the stiff guy said u,

go to c her and say her ur case and situation, for sure she will respect ur effort to bring her with u, mothers r v good and they forgive always as they know how hard is it in this region,

I am with u but this is the law of this country and we have to respect it.
