How to convert Family Visa into RP?

My wife is here on a Family Visit(sponsored by Me)- I hv an RP and have been in Qatar since June,2008. I want to know how can this be converted into a RP( her medical has been done)...Please advise as I need to get the visa extended to ensure it is done smoothly.
What documents will be required and how much time it will take?

thats mean you bring your wife as visit visa so you have go to labour office for apply pr (EQAMA) when you finish from there and take the visa numbr VP NUMBER FOR PASSPORT ADMINISTRATION then contact me i ll tell you the other step , coz long story here to get visa or pr

I think you have to talk to your sponsor so they can arrange a letter for you, address to the immigration department about your contract with them, once it will be approved, then you can apply for the RP.

Some sponsors they will do everything for you for free.

Talk to your sponsor, they know better.
