How to change Passport validity date in the immigration

My passport validity expired 05-07-2008 and my visa expires 06-08-08. So i extend my passport validity till 2013 and i already renew my visa with the extended passport copies. Now when i check moi.go.qa it shows my passport expired 05-07-2008. Now how to change it to 2013? Please help me to solve this problem.

actually it is done at the time of renewing your visa. A seperate application form is filled to transfer the RP to renewed passport which cost QR 100/- additional.

Now that you have got your visa extended, apply for transfer your visa to new passport by fillingout this form which is available with any typing centre.
