Dear all,

I have been in Qatar for five months.
I am working in a construction company.
But I don't want to stay here any more.
I send a resignation letter to my boss.
He did not allow me to go.

I still do not get the ID.
I want to go home.
Please help me.

Options:

1. You complete your term of contract. A year or two. Then when you leave the country dont come back.

2. You Resign - You give in writing that you will stop attending work on one month or 2 months notice (the period will be mentioned in your contract).

3. You take emergency leave. (Your employer must not doubt your motives). Reach home send resignation letter and mention the reason. - The Fastest & most usual Method.

4. You go to the Embassy and say you want to go back home, your passport is with your employer, he is neither handing it to you nor paying you your wages according to contract. You could ask any of the housemaids here as this route is familiar to them especially the gulf-experienced ones.

I hope you are able to escape from this prison.
