how can i get a one day visa for qatar?

Hello,

I am flying from london to india on august. i have a transit time of 1 day and 5 hrs in Qatar. i wanted take a 1 day visit visa for qatar as i want to meet my family over there. my ticket has been booked through qatar airways but they are unable to provide a transit visa for qatar. please advice me about how can i take get a 24 hr visa or where should i contact for the details regarding this?
also i have lived in Qatar with my family for about 5 year (2001-2006). and i am an indian.

Go to qatar embassy in london and inquire their or ask your family in qatar to apply a visit visa for you.

you can call the immigration department and they will answer and you can go to Qatari Embassy.

don't ask any one else.
