how can i apply visa

Hello Friends..

I had applied for family visa for my wife on jan which got rejected and as per rules i can re-apply only after 6 months..
my query is that can i proceed with applying for a visit visa during this duration or is it that the visit visa can be issued only after the '6 months' of clearance of the family visa rejection period.

Visit visa has no relation with permanent visa as such, u can apply for visit visa any time with only one condition that if that visitor has already visited this country then u have to wait for three months to return his/her back to this country.
