How to apply a visa for stopover in Doha?
Hi, everyone!
My friend and I will have a trip for East Africa, but the flight will stop over at Qatar for around 20 hours, we would like to have a look for this city in the afternoon and stay for one night in the hotel. Does anyone know which hotel could help us apply for a visa with a reasonable price? and the hotel website? or fax? or telephone number?
Thank you very much!
Suki
Galloper48, I really appreciate your warm heart.
But I think my application will be rejected, cos I could not meet the limit of customer eligibility as following term,
"There are no other Qatar Airways flights with immediate connection (for the required date)."

Some info is this
Long Stopovers
Qatar Airways is pleased to offer a convenient transit hotel accommodation for customers who face extended transit times in Doha, en-route to their final destination.
Hope it works for you...once again check with the airline!!
Regards!!
Oh~ Drmana,just missed that msg.
That website is just the one I checked before, because they helped one of my friends apply the visa and also one night accommodation in their hotel with QR499 one year ago. I am not sure whether QR650 is too expensive. So I wanted to check more hotels.
thank you very much!

Suki, did you check the link I posted above? Try that..
Thank you!
But in fact, we have no choice,I don't think we could stay in the airport for 20 hours...
Our flight will arrive at 11:30am, and depart at 07:25 the next morning. Do you have any good suggestion?
Thank you very much!

But what would you see or visit here in afternoon when it is unbearably hot.....not worth the hassle I would say. But still if you want.....try.
I am afraid only you can get this kind of stopover through Hotels. unless you have family member her who can sponsor you.
try this one:

No idea if you could book it or arrange visa online though.
Thank you for your reply!Saeedkan,
I don't need a visa for East Africa.I just need a visa for Qatar for stopover in Doha for 20 hours.
Yes,it is Qatar Airways. But check with Qatar Airways, they could provide such a visa if you could book the hotel through their website, but the problem is the hotels which could be booked through Qatar Airways are really very expensive.
I checked with a hotel, they could provide applying visa service as well, but also very expensive.
