Hello,

Recently in news i read about mandatory home country medical check-up, this includes Egypt. I have egyptian friend who already got working visa for Qatar in December. He plans to travel there next month.

The new rule will be valid from February 1st.

Does anyone know if he needs to go through medical check-up in egypt prior to going to Qatar (at present he works in Saudi Arabia and might travel to Qatar straight from there)?

Yes But the rule nt yet applied. Better do it because this rule is new because lots of people in Qatar wen they do medical here for rp they fail in med. That's why government don't want headache they want people to do medical in there country b4 they enter qatar.
