Hi to all,

My question is a bit confusing right? to elaborate more here's my story,

I will be home this coming March and plan to comeback on November this year.. I just renew my RP this month ( I'm holding a working visa). My company has no objection of my long leave vacation. my question are ..

1. Is there no problem in the immigration leaving for 8 months then come back in Qatar?

2. Is it true that before 6 months leaving Qatar not allowed to enter unless filed for extension? or this is only applied for husbands visa?

Please to those who has knowledge about this, I appreciate your answer.

Shokran Jazillan!

on a working visa, you cannot stay out of the country for more than 6 months. unless until you have a medical emergency, such as pregnancy related issues if you are a woman.

otherwise an extension is tough to get even though you obtain a letter from your sponsor.

Dear,

You can stay more than 6 months home but you have to get permission from the IMMIGRATION and also you have to pay maximum of 500 Riyals (According to the period) to get the same. For getting this permission, you have to show the proof for what purpose you need this much period. Just ask your sponsor to give a letter to immigration for asking this permission and enclose the reason then submit it to the immigration...

For a Work Visit Visa (your case) you will have to come back within 6 months or else u'l loose your Permit.

for a husband's visa, a wife or children on father's visa can stay abroad for maximum one year but will have to return before completion of one year.
