Hepa B carrier

I'm a Hepatitis B carrier and I worked in Qatar up to year 2006 as a direct hire in one Petrochemical company. This year 2008, I applied to one of the company again and pass the interviews and examination but I was not selected because I have Hepatitis B (HBsAg). Is it really not allowed to work for a hepatitis B carrier in Qatar nowadays. Actually, I have the same results of medical examination as before with my previous company.

The company that I applied for is also Oil/Gas company, same as Petrochemical. Their (the company) medical examination requisition letter has a written statement something like this: "Note: Person Having TB, HBV and HIV are not allowed to work in Qatar". That's why I was confused because my previous company had requested me to have a PROFILE TEST for HBV and I passed it and they give me a medical waiver letter, so that I can work with them.

But this new company is not doing like that. Maybe this company is not aware of that.

Some people remain as healthy carrier even after HBsAg (Australian antigen) positive-but they are not permitted to work in medical team and as food handlers/ Barbers whom they comes in to close contact of ….. are not authorized for work visa.

Note:- Harbal treatments are available in southern part of India??!!
