Help! Invitation letter from local company?

Hi, everyone,

I checked with a lot of hotels in Doha which might help me get a tourist visa for my 20-hours stopover time of flights in Doha.
But, there is a problem, all of these hotel request an invitation letter from local company.
My god, that city is totally strange to me, how could I find a local company to send me an invitation letter? Should I have to stay in the airport for 20 hours?
is there anyone who could give me some suggestion whether I have the other option to go into the city?

Waiting for your reply!

Thanks!

Suki

why use QA, find other airlines that have less transit hours or standby hours. 20 hr is way too much...

ass i understand, a decent hotel should be able to get you a visa if you are staying there and have onward/return tickets.

Better to stay inside the airport even if it is for 20 hrs, outside temperatures are extreme

Hi, Natasha,

Thank you for your reply. I am not going to get this visa from the travel agency, because we just stop in Doha for 20 hours, and find a good hotel for one night. I am not sure whether they could provide me an invitation letter while we are not going to book any other tour service.

Thanks, Parbat,

My friend and I are Chinese, we are from China, and we are going to have a 21 days trip for Kenya and Tanzania, and take the flight of China airline from China to Dubai, and then transit to the flight of Qatar Airways from Dubai to Nairobi, which will stop over in Doha for 20 hours.

We are holding the tickets for going and returning, and also got the visa for Kenya.

Thanks for your reply.

Hi Suki,

Usually your travel agent should be able to help you with this. You can try 2 of the travel agencies in Qatar that might be able to help you. Try Mannai travels or Regency travels. These 2 agencies have very efficient travel agents and they give the best services. And i am speaking from experience.

Hope this helps.

Let me know about you. Your nationality. Where are you coming from and going to and more..... like your visa to the destination country etc etc. After that I can let you know in case I can help you to get an invitation letter to enter into Qatar for 20 hours.
