Help!!! I need visa!

crown@coke
By crown@coke

Me and my husband trying to figure out what is the easiest way for us (me and my daughter) to get there in qatar.. But then, some said, that i have to send my papers into the Qatar embassy here in philippines for authentication, after i recieve that i am going to send the papers to my husband who is working there. After my hubby get the verification and visa, my husband will going to send the visa here to me in PH. and after i receive the visa i will going to send again the visa along with all the requirements needed for the stamp. and return it back to me. That sound alot of work to me and why it is really hard now to get a visa? Why they making this so complicated to the Filipinos? What is the easiest way to do it to be able to get a visa there?

reality check, you are trying to secure a visa to enter a foreign country, of course there are lots of paperworks and processing involved.. I just don't see how whining about it can help.

you made my day very happy.....

I like your style, anyway with regards to your query there is no easy way unless your husband is on Family Status Visa which means that you just need to submit the authenticated documents needed such as Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate and Medical (not sure) to your husband and his company will do the rest. However, there is no guarantee yet by this time of year, because I heard that there are long lines waiting for approval of Visas for Filipinos and it is not easy to be approved even on family visas.

relax and take your time, it might be the best thing to do right now... do not rush things you might end up losing more than gain....

just an advice:-)

That sound alot of work to me and why it is really hard now to get a visa? Why they making this so complicated to the Filipinos? What is the easiest way to do it to be able to get a visa there?

That is really a pain in my ass. And do i still really need to get our birth certificate,NBI for red ribbon? What is the used of the authenticate from NSO kung hindi nila i-ohonor ung mga paper na walang red ribbon? That doesnt make sense, dbah?

imo, i don't think my answers are irrelevant to these questions

Next question please!

By wirehead• 4 Oct 2010 14:36

sorry, it irritates me to see people who are concerned with the 'easiest' way of doing things instead of doing things the right way. this is the main reason why philippine passports are looked down upon in many parts of the world. and the reason why it takes such a long and complicated time to have papers authenticated and processed. the red ribbon from the dfa is authentication from the philippine government to another country's government that the documents you are submitting are indeed valid. why should the dfa do this when the nso has authenticated it? because the nso has no business dealing with other countries. it is the dfa's job to do this and the nso's job is only to keep and provide records and statistics.

things are very complicated because a lot of people go for the easy way and sometimes provide fake documents. or come in as tourists but are in fact intending to look for a job. lots of people do the latter but it leaves some people vulnerable to human trafficking and unfair labor practices. better go through all the steps however long it takes instead of getting turned away by immigration.

i can't help you with the visa questions and i can't understand what you mean anyway. but for my friends who got their families in here, i don't think it took more than couple of months provided their documents are complete and properly attested.

all you said was true...you need to authenticate all documents needed with DFA...no agancies needed to process your papers otherwise you'll waste time and money... go directly to any wwwexpress branch to ask about embassy requirements and if your papers are properly authenticated you send it through wwwexpress as they do not allow any personal processing with the embassy there...don't be such in a hurry coz if you do they will not let you take the flight even if you have a ticket...by the way you need to have a medical check up there its required.good luck.

you have to write in full English as you are in the main forum.

Secondly, ask your husband to write the procedures through their company's mandoob in getting you and your child here.

Thirdly, if you want to go here, be patient. If you don't have it, don't even think of surviving here.

Hope you get the message!
