Maybe you do dont like what I advise - but here's it as a well wisher anyway. - Work out your marriage problems first as it takes 2 minutes to break a marriage but gives years of pain. See a counsellor with your husband discuss with him - do what it takes from your end so that tomorrow you dont feel there is something you could have done. Jobs you will get anytime. Do think about this as \i have been through it more than once!!!!

it can take a week to two to three months for the CID clearance.

my personal experience has been 2+months.

if you have the reference number, you can go and see their senior officer, who is very helpful and polite.

The way you put your questions in full bold capital letters seemed that you really in disappointment and tired of waiting for unanswered clearance. I think that they just give you false hope of acquiring one.

As suggested, it is better and appropriate to approach the CID head about your case. For all I know, the clearance will take only a maximum of one (1) week to get. As one answer stated, maybe they lost your papers is another possibility why your application took that long.

Come there in person and request politely when is the possible date you can get the clearance.

Good luck!!!

The best way to get anything done in this country is to travel there in person and politely pester people.

I know that it is frustrating at first, especially if you're used to getting very fast/courteous service from your home country, but it's something you need to get used to here.

Go there in person, every day, and ask. They will eventually get tired of you pestering them and will actually do the work. Make sure to be polite, but firm.

This is what I've learned so far, anyway.

Good luck,

--Jonathan

For the person who said visa takes time, I ask to to go tHrough my question again.I am not awating VISA.I AM WATING FOR CID CLEARANCE ,FOR MY FIRST JOB IN THIS COUNTRY,AS LOCAL RECRUIT.

And letting them[CID] know, this job matters to me, doesnt make any difference,as I already have the job offer in hand from the company, and I need only the CID clearance.

I haven't heard of anyone waiting this long - even people who didn't get it heard within a month! There must be some or other issue, or they lost your application? Have you gone to ask? Maybe re-apply?

I laughed at people telling you to apply for a teaching job. I did that and I also had to get CID before being accepted, so people mustn't think CID is only for doctors!
