Gratuity
I come and work in Doha as follows
April 2008 to Nov 2008 -- 8 months work in doha.
then holiday Nov 2008 to April 2009
May 2009 to Nov 2009 -- 7 months again doha work.
So i get gratuity or not ?
because I not complete continious 12 months of service ??
I get gratuity for 8+7 months ?
Not according to Qatarv labour law unless if this is mentioned in your contract with the company. i believe your contract cosidered as from abroad or contractor who are not entiteled for gratuity. according to labour law u might be cosidered as a consultant.. and u even might not be paid a salary but only a lump sum or commission for your work.
you still can call labour dept and check they are very helpfull.
