Anybody knows when does the Eid holiday for the goverment will start??

working for a semi-goverment firm. we're off from Thursday 26th of Nov - Saturday 5th of Dec.

Hi guys,

As per the circulars Eid holiday for the Govt. Departments will be from 25th November to 6th December 2009. As per the labour law Private Companies should be giving 3 days (working days) as Eid holidays. Even if Eid is on Friday or Saturday (27th or 28th) they will be having holidays from Friday 27th November to Tuesday, 1st December 2009.

We got our circular yesterday.

From 25th Nov till 6th Dec.. 10 days :D :D !!

Eid Holidays start from 26th November to 5th December for Goverment and for private companies it should be for Friday only holiday a week office it start from 28-29 & 30, for Friday, Saturday offdays offices 29-30 Nov & 1 Dec 09
