You dont need an NOC if you havent even done your fingerprints yet as it means you dont have a residence permit.

You might not want to look for a job on the same string that a) you are asking about something illegal and b) shows you don't intend to stay with your future employer.

That happens here too Baldrick, an example is all those guys you see near the souq with the trucks. They pay a local to sponsor them and have to give him so much a month so he wont cancel their visas. The Local usually holds their passports (which is also illegal under the Immigration amendments) and will turn them over to CID if they dont pay up.

All of this is oh so very illegal....

There is such a thing in Saudi if you want to try your luck there. Basically, a Saudi will "Own" you. and you give him a cut of what ever you make, but you will be treated worse than a stray dog!

What I have posted is a translation of the law amendments that came out a few months back. Under the old law both parties were penalized, the illegal employer and the employee, although the employee usually got off a bit lighter than the employer.

Amoud, who will be penalized, is it the employer or the worker?

Fiery, you will be deported after you do your jail time and pay the fine :)

I love being a lady here, can work just about anywhere I want and they cant ask me to change my sponsorship from my husband _____________________________________________________

you got it right, it's illegal. Once caught by the authority, you will be deported back to your country. Bye, bye Qatar!

Then what he is doing is illegal and is punishable by article 15 of the Immigration law as follows:

It is extremely prohibited for any person or company to allow his workers which they are under his sponsorship to work in any other company or to use workers which are not under his sponsorship .Article (15)

The penalty on this Article is 3 year in jail or penalty up to 50,000 QR .

There is no such thing as a visa that will permit you to change jobs whenever you like. To work in Qatar you need a work permit which is transferred into a residence permit. The company you work for must be your sponsor and you are not permitted to work for anyone else without an NOC, which will release you from your current sponsor and enable you to go under the sponsorship of someone else. YOu can change your sponsorship 3 times, and muct be with your sponsor for at least 1 year before you can transfer.

Only women under their husbands or fathers can work wherever they want whenever they want.
