Fixed-term contract visa
I know this is a topic discussed a thousand times but I didn't find a case exactly like mine. I'm here on a 1-year fixed-term contract. The day my contract expires, my working visa and RP also expire. What my company told me in the beginning also is that I'd have to sign a contract in Arabic with my sponsor which I haven't done so far and I have no intention of doing it which makes me think if things go to court they don't stand a chance. In my case do I need a NOC to join another company or is it enough to leave the country for some time before I go on a new job? Also, my new employer most probably will be a (semi-)government institution and as far as I know they can do whatever they want here.
What I meant by my case being different is that most people here ask if they can have their RP/visa cancelled while being placed on permanent positions and join another company. As mine EXPIRE and I'm on a fixed-term contract doesn't this make the case any different? I really don't get this part with the NOC when you are on a fixed-term contract. You are telling me that if you come here for some 3 months contract with a company you can't do another one with another company in less than 2 years without NOC? I highly doubt this, it's totally illogical and stupid.
how is your case is different from any other case?
NOC has nothing to do with the contract, contract terms, your signature or who is your current employer, or who will be your next one... Without any connection to the Contract an dthe companies ownerships, it's all about either current sponsor does want to grant you a NOC or does not. that is it.
everybody does! Without the arabic contract, they can't process your working visa!
