Filipino Visa
We already have approval for a Filipino maid. I've advertised as much as I possibly can for any maids and I've had a few phone calls today from ladies so have arranged interviews.
One lady, who seems the most suitable so far, is here on a visit visa. I know if we already have approval we can transfer sponsorships, but if a visit visa is already in situ (I'm assuming she came in before the visas were banned...how else would she have got one?) can we employ her?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Daneca
As far as I am aware, the ban is only for visas for Filipino Maids so you should be ok.
i already had business visit but i had it last november 6.. i am going to qatar but i am confused if when i'll be in qatar there is a possibility that i can't land a job because of the working visa ban for filipinos.. DO i need to worry? I am a nurse.. I applied as direct hire in hospital.. as soon as I'll be in qatar I could go to the HR for an interview.. Do i need to worry about the visa ban issue?
My mother is working in qatar as an assistant teacher and she was so hesitant to get me here in the philippines.. she could also help me find job.. but temporary visa ban is the impediment.. :(
Yes you can employ her, it is a very common practice.
That would be lovely Gene_lv - thank you!
Take a services of an agency handling helpers recruitment and they can give you a proper advise on how to deal with the situation.
There is an agency called diamond star? they charge reasonably well.
I can give to you the number if you wish.
You can transfer the sponsorship if she can provide and NOC from her present visit sponsor. Tht won't be a problem.
Thank you Seasons for your constructive advice!
We do already have the approval, I just wasn't certain if we could transfer her to our personal sponsorship when she only holds a visit visa.
If you already have an approval you can transfer her tourist/ business/ family visit visa as to your personal maid visa.. You will not be give any NEW APPROVALS only.. Old one can still be used.
I haven't said I'm going to employ her if you'd care to read the post correctly.
