Any idea how long it will take to convert family visit visa into residence visa? Im here in family visit visa status, did the medical, submitted all the required documents needed, then given schedule to comeback for....i guess for finger printing. But when I went back to immigration the officer told me that the approval was postponed coz' i still have to stay for 2 more months on visit visa. Is it really the procedure and what will happened to my medical exam, do I have to undergo for another one???

you don't have to undergo another medical. the reason your application was put on hold is most likely becasue some documents are missing.. when did your husband get his RP? that might be the reason.
