family visit visa (Resedience limit)

Dear friends,

I planning to bring my wife to Qatar on family visit visa. My actual profession is H.R. Executive but in my Work visa its reflecting as Maint. Technician. My much worry is, can I bring my family here on family visit visa? My position in RP will not create any problem? Please help me and let me know whether I can Sponsor my family on my maintenance Technician Visa or not.

you have to passed and finished first your probationary period my friend... or else they will not give you the required NOC from your company... LOL ,,,

maybe what Alex brod mean is that you need to pass first your probationary period with your company before applying for your wife and sons visa just to be sure that you can stay here and they can also stay here with you as well....:)

yes you can apply now a family visit visa...take the advice of the 1st comment. I came here in qatar last Jan 2013 and I prepared all the docs needed and she came a month ago (April 2013).

You need more months to be granted family visit visa since you are new, usually you will go beyond provisionary period...

If you are planning to get your wife and son on a "Family Visit Visa" only, you can ask for an NOC from your company then you can get them as soon as your company gives you the required docs together with other necessary documents such as application etc. + you must have at least 5,000 QR salary. BUT... if you are planning to get them on a "Family Resident Visa" you must stay first for at least 6 months on your company coz you have to present to the immigration your 6 months Bank statement (salary). it is 1 of the requirements.
