Family Visit Visa Application Postponed

Recently, I applied for a family visit visa for my wife. I was fortunate enough to have my application approved in the immigration office in Abu Hamour. I was asked to pay 200QR, and told to return after 3 days for the releasing of the visa.

After coming from work, I check in the internet the status of my application, and found out from the MOI website that my application was postponed and the reason was, I need to secure an NOC from her sponsor. Btw, my wife is presently in Doha on a business visa which will soon expires. Does getting an NOC will have my application approved? And how long will it takes?

Thank you for your answer.

This is just an update on the question that i posted above.

I was able to obtain an NOC from my wife's sponsor, the one who arranged her business visa. The next day, i went to the immigration in Abu habour, and presented it to the lady officer. She was accommodating and accepted the NOC letter, it was around 7am. At 1pm, when i checked in the MOI website, our application for family visit visa was approved.

Next is, stamping of the new visa on her passport.

Speak your employer or HR dept and get an NOC. once you submit the NOC the Imigration dept will process the Visa within 3 working days
