Dear Ql member,

If a family visit visa for 6 months expires, how many months can a person can come back to Qatar for another family visit visa?

Can he come back for just another month after exiting Qatar.

Thank you all

Hi everyone, a real case of emergency.

I joined a company in Qatar 7 months back. I really wish to quit my job as I am getting better job offers in other firms. My contract is for 2 yrs. So it is evident that they will not give me NOC and i will be banned for 2 yrs. My husband is working here in Qatar. But his salary is too low to apply for a family resident visa. I wish to know if I resign my job and once the company cancels my RP, can I come back to Qatar in family visit visa and extend it for another 5 months. So we hope by the time, we can make any arrangements for family resident visa.

Please your reply is really valuable.

That's true getting a family visa is such a pain right now we are dealing with that paid because our application for family is rejected and this the option we would like to consider. So it would take three months before a person can come again? is this correct

You have to re-apply for another visa. Until then they would have to leave/re-enter the country every 30 - 60 days (depends on the visa they get on arrival at the airport). Some families do this all the time because getting the family visa is such a pain.

the person (or persons) has (have) to wait for 3 months before being able to come to Qatar again.
