Family Visa (residency)

Hi,

Is it necessary to submit my accomodation lease/rent agreement along with the family visa application (1 year)?

I have all other required documents except:
1. Rent agreement
2. Electricity bill in my name

Reason being that i am living in the apartment of a friend who has been posted out of Qatar for 6 months. Just wondering if i need to move out of here and get an apartment leased in my own name in order to get my family permission to stay for a year and above?

I suppose this is a common situation in Qatar so am expecting it should be ok. Any one knows for sure?

thanks

I don't think you has to give tenancy contract, but electricity bill is mentioned as one of prerequisite in the application form. Try to give copy of some electricity bill of any house under name of your company or last resort you give electricity bill of your house even if it is under your friend's name. Only thing is that you should submit it, so you fulfill all the required docs, and apply, and pray to god.If rest everything is inline they may not reject it only for this bill issue.

When i went through my residency permit application they did demand the rental agreement contract, so just ask them to save disappointment later.

No need to submit these two items. They need a six months bank statement, your salary certificate, marriage cert. and letter from your company.
