Family Visa renewal
My initial contract was of two years and that has been extended and I have residence visa valid until April 2011. When I went to Immigration Department to extend my family's visa I have been told to go to labour department. If somebody knows please advise what is the procedure at labour ministry for extension of family visa? how long it takes? We are planning to go on vacation mid of July, 2010. I had just renewed my family visa few days back.
Just text message to 92727 as follows.
first type digit 7 and type your wifes id number and send.
if u have kids continue with, again type 7 and first kid id number and type 7 and second kid id number. There should not be any space in between. accknowledgement will come in arabic. after 5 days(may before) go immigration.

SMS to 92727 your family visa number and if you have children their visa number also.(don't include your visa number)make sure without any space you should type the visa numbers and immediately you will get the response in arabic. within two or three days you can renew the family visa.
Since your initial contract was only for 2 years, your company might have taken only 2 years approval for family visa, now your company has to take or give additional years of approval for your family, contact your company RPO, rest he will take care getting the approval and all,
