Guys, is it possible to have a 1 year visa for free? because my family visa was just appproved, then I went to immigration to pay for 1 year and get my QID, the lady only charged me for 100QR,. My husband is a government employee but we applied for the visa and shouldered all the expenses?.How come it is only QR 100 where supposed to be QR500 isn't it?

AS WE HAVE SAID, IF THE APPLICANT IS WORKING IN A GOVERNMENT COMPANY, THERE ARE LOTS OF PRIVILEDGES THAT HE CAN RECEIVE. BY THE WAY, YOUR HUSBAND COMPANY IS NOT THE ONE TO SETTLE YOUR FAMILY VISA. THE HUSBAND SHOULD BE THE ONE TO APPLY FOR HIS FAMILY VISA. THE ONLY ROLE OF THE COMPANY IS TO PROVIDE YOUR HUSBAND A NOC AND A SALARY CERTIFICATE THEN UPON COMPLETION OF ALL THE REQUIREMENTS, YOUR HUSBAND WILL SUBMIT IT TO THE IMMIGRATION FOR APPROVAL OF FAMILY VISA.

but how about the employer of my husband? are they charged my husband's employer? or it is one of the benefits of a government employee? I am afraid of the situation of my husband, supposed to be the company will settle my family visa but they told us that it is possible by the end of this year, but because of our eagerness we applied the visa with our own expenses.
