Dear QLC members;

Please do advise what would be rules on family visa, my family was here under my sponshorship (RP) just last sept. they went back to philippines due to my father in-law death but unfortunately my wife cannot travel she cannot travel back here cause she is pregnant now for 8 months.

Anent to this, the problem is thier visa will expires on jan. 10, 2009 which is not possible my family to be here for renewal thier visa plz do advise if there is a way for extension for their renewal without there presence here.

rp can not renew unless person is in qtr.your case is very simple.get new baby(mabrook),make new passport of baby.your family have already rp number in qtr(I hope they were in qtr)apply again in labour dept(follow requirements)same time apply for new baby s visa. babies birth certificate shoud be attested from authority.its same like new visa but since your family have rp number,so it will be easy to get visa.

If you away form country more than 6 month, the RP will cancel automatically. I Dont know much about Qatar but i had the similar experience in kuwait. I admit my son to school for the sake of getting a certifcate form school authority that he need to be here to complete the accademeic year and i got the extension allowed wife to enter after 8 months. Pregenency will not accept coz you know about it before you leave the country. Here your case is renewal!! better check with any typing center
