hi frns..
i am trying to get some help regarding my visa application..me n my wife has a valid residence visa. i applied for my newborn child's visa n it is taking longer than expected :(..i do have a VB no. which i am tracking every day..i was scheduled to leave for india this weekend n planning to bring the child n mother to doha by mid of jan..is it possible that i can get an online printout of the visa from india so that i dont have to postpone my trip..or is it a must that i should go to emigration in person to get the original visa..guyss plz help

Just go and check with those people in the visa section. Normally they behave well and helping too.

Visa for Newborn Babies

This visa is provided for new born babies who are less than 3 months upon their arrival along with his/her mother at the entry border. (You dont have to apply for a visa in this case. it is on arrival visa aliog with mother(provided mother should have a valid visa to enter)

If it is more than 3 months

The baby should have a passport or his/her name should be added in the passport of mother or father.

To produce original birth certificate of the baby

The father and mother should have a valid residence permit in Qatar.

Place of application submission: Borders Passports

Fee:

Visa Issuance Fee: This visa is issued free of charge

Fine for overstay: QR 10 per day of delay after expiring the specified period which is two months outside the country and three months inside country.
