Family Resident Visa

Hi,

I need to apply for my wife and daughter's Family Resident Visa. However, when I checked the requirements, it seems that the minimum salary should be QAR 10,000. Here are the facts:

1.) Labor Contract (In Arabic) stated salary is QAR 7,800
2.) Occupation is Engineer.
3.) English Contract Salary is QAR 8,600
4.) Pay slip salary plus allowances is QAR 13,000

Will I be able to get through with these credentials? Are there other ways to get a family resident visa for my family?

Hope to get some help from you guys.:-)

More important is what shows in your bank statement and it should be direct transfer or by cheque payment by your company for minimum 3 to 6 months.

Second comes your Arabic contract, ask your company to update it; they will not increase the basic salary for sure but will have to increase the overall salary structure to meet minimum salary criteria.

Engineer or relevant designation has to be mentioned in contract.

Are all your certificates i.e. your Education, Marriage & children’s birth certificate attested?

If not the please do get in touch with us at Asia Attestation Services {4436 6147} or log on to www.AsiaAttestation.com for more details.

Requirement:

NOC from company allowing you to sponsor your family

Marriage contract attested by Embassy and MOI

Labour Contract (Arabic)

Degree Certificate (Translated to Arabic)

6 month Bank Statement

Passport of entire family

I think there's a new requirement about housing that needs to be included with the application, so this needs to be confirmed with your mandoop.

BTW, why not let your mandoop process everything for you?

I am receiving QAR 13,000 since transportation and housing are provided by the company. My bank statement can attest that I am receiving such amount. However, my arabic contract only states QAR 7,800, I am not sure why my company only declared this amount, perhaps because I am from an Australian company operating here in Qatar. By the way, my family is already here in Qatar and I would just like to convert their Visit Visa to Resident Visa. What are the requirements for this?

Minimum salary is 10,000, and should be stated in the labour contract (Arabic). There is a new requirement now about housing which needs to be clarified. If your contract stated that you are living in a bachelor accommodation provided by the company, then you won't get approved. Minimum salary is 10,000 + Transportation allowance (or company provided) + Housing allowance (or company provided). If you are receiving 13,000 excluding housing, then you have a good chance of getting an approval. However, no harm in trying. Some people make it, some dont. You just need to try in order for you to know. Make sure your educational certificate is attested by the embassy and translated into Arabic.

Good luck...
