Exiting Qatar for a working Visa

Good day ! I am new here in Doha on Family visit visa, I would like to ask an advise to those who know about this particular hiring process. A Contracting Company here in Doha wants to hire me as a Site Nurse but they want me to exit Qatar and after that they will issue me a working visa. They are requiring me to give them a letter stating that I will be the one to shoulder all my expense on my exit, My question is how can I make sure that they will give me a working visa once I am already outside Qatar ? I will appreciate all your comments. Thank you so much.

then they have to pay for your ticket, as if they have hired you overseas..

you can ask them for whatever you want, it's up to you what to ask…

but if you mean, whether or not the work visa can be issued while you are in Qatar, the answer is yes. work visa can be issued while you are in qatar. in this case you will have a copy of it. then you exit the country and enter again on this work visa.. although again, i cannot see the reason for exiting, unless it's not related to the work visa..

thank you Qatarisun, what I mean is can I ask them to make sure that they have a ready working visa? If they have, can I ask for the visa number that will be transferred to me? is that possible someone advise me this.

there is no assurance. if they already have a visa number, meaning that your visa is issued, why the heck you have to leave the country? There is something wrong here.. They either don't know the rules (which means they are unprofessional), or they dont want to pay 500 for switching status of your visa from family visit to work..

Oh, and the reason that they do not want to hire applicants locally has no sense. As if they want to hire you "overseas", the first thing they must do is pay for your ticket..

How you can get any assurance from such weird company?

Hi Alex, yes I have figured that out and I am not worried about NOC and change of Sponsorship, the company is offering me a good salary package, compared to other offer that wants to hire me locally. I just want to have an assurance that they will issue me a working visa. I heard that I can ask for the Visa Number just to make sure that they have a ready visa. Thank you for all your comments

The company you applied doesn't want to be involve in change sponsor procedure like your present sponsor to give NOC. Find another company that can hire you without exiting.

But the company is requiring me to have an exit, I don't know why, maybe they do not want to hire applicants locally. but I want to make sure that they will give me the working visa once I am already outside Qatar.

You, don't have to exit Qatar to obtain a working visa, it could be done while your still in the country..
