Hi,
U mean EXIT PERMIT, if you have signed a two year contract, in the same you should find a clause saying either of the party can terminate the contract if their not satisfied with clause 1,2,3.
So first go through your contract letter. And if the employer sponsored you from your country from there own expenses you may have to pay compensation… but depends.
U better consult your Embassy first & then the labor dept.
Hi fieryangel,
Anish has already asked his company for the exit visa who refused to give it. He is asking for help now how to solve this issue.
Anish, First of all check your contract with them. There should be a clause in your contract related to termination of services before the end of contract. It will be probably one month written notice from either party. If the clause is there submit your resignation with one month notice and they will be obliged to give you exit permit and if they are not doing it you can approach the Labour Dept.
Normally the first clause of the contract will be like this.
"This contract is effective from ----------- for two years, the two parties are entitled to terminate this contract provided that a prior written notice of one month if the service is ---- years shall be given to the other party"
Check the clause and act accordingly.
Normally both party can terminate contracts during probation period. Check ur contract if u are still in probation period u can resign without notice. If your resignation is not approving then go to labour department.
dont disclose to your employer that you are leaving for good. tell them there is an emergency in your home country and you need your presence.
Buddy...they have the right to pend you for you have signed a 2-year contract. The best thing that you can do is to file for an emergency leave.....but i don't think it's possible now because the company knows you want to go home. So you better do it in the proper manner...give them a resignation letter or a one month notice.
You can approach your embassy...
