Exit permission

Is that true, that if I am on work visa in Qatar and want to exit Qatar (How about a long weekend in Dubai?) for whatever reason, I need a permission to exit? Who do I ask for the permission? My boss? The police? The immigration? Many thanks for your help in letting me know about this issue.

check your passport, only your sponsor mentioned on your passport in your Work visa can grant you exit permit. should not be very hard. otherwise, they will turn you back when exiting. keep in mind that it is done electronically and no paper work will be given to you.

contact your sponsor and request exit permit, they will know what to do.

Good luck.

Its called Exit Permit... your sponsor will apply it thru e-gov if your company have an account there..or they can apply it, it will take a few minutes to issue.

and its valid only for seven days.. you must leave to qatar before it will expire.

Yes mate you do. If you are sponsored by the company they need to give you permission to leave for any reason. Where I am we have people that do it for us on the government online site. Not sure if all companies have the same. Only takes a few hours. It might come down to who you work for.

You have to request exit permit from your Admin/HR Department. They will process it for you
