Engineering cerificate attestaion

Dear All,

i got an Draft offer from qatar i have done HRD+ Qatar attestation from New delhi.

Now company is asking for Original Certificates to send courier to Qatar

what could be the reason for asking this. Am from Mumbai (INDIA)

Please suggest

I am employee of Embassy of India.... An original certificate, first should be attested by Human Resource department (HRD) of a particular state, and then get attested from Minister of External affair from New Delhi then get it attested from (Qatar Embassy in India or Indian Embassy in Qatar).

From august 1,2012, there is new rule. For educational certificate, to get attested from Qatar Embassy in India, first the degree should have an authenticated stamp from the particular state and also the final mark sheet should be attested by Minister of Foreign affairs, New Delhi.

Same way for marriage certificate also....

As far as I know, for family visa, we dont need Educational certificate, We need Marriage certificate attested as said above and then from MOFA Qatar. Then take a copy of it and get it attested by Indian Embassy in Doha and submit it.

Also for visa if you have a good PRO, who can talk well then you will need to get your educational certificate attested from MOFA Qatar.

Eurogulf service seems to be good here in Qatar for this need. many of my friends took their service for QR 700. and satisfactory.

i have attested from MOFA only my Degree certificate but not +2 and school certificate to change my Professional as an engineer so i would like to know either it is necessary to attest all the certificte or not?

Ya! now as per the Qatar government rule first we have to attest from ministry of Foreign affier from country then attest from Embassy then after only minister of foreigh affaier qatar will attest.

Hai friend i am in business visa now i need to change it as work visa(RP).Actually i have not done the MEA attestationin india, but i have got the attestation from Indian embaasy qatar in the copies of my certificate.PLease let me know in qatar foreign affairs will they attest on;y if the original is attested or will they issue if the copy is attested by Indian embassy in qatar.Please advise.

Also i need to apply spouse visa, understand that first our marriage certificate to be attested from MEA in India then the same has to be showed in Indian embassy and get attested then to ministry of foreign affairs qatar once everything is done we can apply for visa. or shall we do the same in India by get the MEA attestation and get the attestation from qatar embassy in qatar after that we can apply for visa directly . If the two options are right please let me know your valuable advise.

Andrew - you are right thats the procedure when we need to get it attested back in india.

Here its much simple and the original will not be ruined with stamps at its rear. They do only the copies.

Asper raj.jev post above, seems they have changed the rule.

Arien..I knew abt. one guy who has got Family visa, without attestation and even without a Salary transfer to the bank. May be he is very lucky

And for attestation I got all my certificates attested from India, the procedure is :-

1. Get attestation from Ministry of HRD

2. Get attestation from Ministry of External Affairs (Foreign Affairs)

3. From respective Embassy..(in this case Qatar Embasy if you are attesting it from India)

The thing is that without the (1) you will not get (2) and without (2) you will not get (3)

It is Easy..Just Be Cool !!!!!

Peoples might have got attestation earlier without MOFA in delhi is 2 months back story....Today this month onwards, ur original degree certificate has to be attested by MOFA in india (delhi) ,without which u cant get attestation in your degree certificate in MOFA qatar..Last week i went to MOFA in qatar and my certificate was not get attested for this reason..now i have to go back to india to get attestation from MOFA in delhi...Now all of u get prepaed for this one in future..dont confuse with other answer here..

Andrews but why?.. I did my marriage and academic certificates attestd by indian embassy in doha , and the MOFA also attested it later!!!!

Certificates needs to be attested for family visa. But by the indian embassy doha and MOFA ( ministry of external affiars, Qatar).. thats it

- Take a copy of your original certificate.

- Get it attested from the Embassy of India in Qatar.

- Get that copy attested by Ministry of Foregin Affairs in Qatar (with the presence of the original)

I think this should work out. This is what I did for my work visa.

PS : Though its been a long time, I have to thank the gentleman who was behind me in line. I didn't have plastic on me to make a transaction at the MoFA. (I was applying for my first job in QATAR!?) How do they expect me to have plastic yet? Anyways, the gentleman paid for me voluntarily. And what amazed me the most was that, he was INDIAN! Out goes conservative nature...welcome to a happy world!

Fathima..thats ryt..but my point is, no need for attested certificate for family visa...

i am confused now.

But i was told by MOFa qatar that they cannot attest the degree certificate until attested by MOFA India.

Fathima in short there is no need for attested educational certificate for Family visa.

In short i need to do the below

Original cerficate to be attested by HRD at delhi.

Please let me know what does HRD stand for

Original certificate to be attested my MOFA at delhi.

Then get a copy of the above and get it attested from Indian embassy at qatar

Then finaly get the copy attested from MOFA at qatar.

Fathima..I dont think ministry will attest photocopies..only orginal certificates and that should be submitted in person or by somebody from blood relation

Fathima.. to get the attestation from external affairs ministry, HRD attestation is mandatory. If you are still in India then get it attested by both the ministries.

OR ..some agencies are doing this kind of services here they will charge a fees.
