Employment Visa

I had left Doha in 2007 without cancelling VISA & my visa was valid till June 2008. I got an offer in Dec 2010 in a new company. However as per the new company, Qatar immigration refused to issue visa. I checked with my old company & confirmed that they did not put any ban. Please advise what shall I do & what are the possible reason of refusing Visa. Is there any web site where I can find the reason .Thanks in advance.

Thanks to all for your answer & time.

I went for vacation to my home country. Due to personal reason I could not return back to Doha. That is why my visa was not cancelled. Same time I informed my employer & emailed my resignation letter.

Please note that my RP is not cancelled. However it is already expired. How I can enter Doha? Old company will not give VISA or NOC. As I wrote before, my VISA was expired in June 2008 & I left the old company in 2007. If I want to cancel my RP, can I do through Qatar Embassy.

Please advise.

If your old RP is not cancelled the RP is still valid you can enter paying 500/-QR if the company need you.You got to cancel the old RP if u want to return back to qatar.Immigration will reject the new entry visa. or u hve to come back on the same sponsor or u require NOC.
