employer pulled back after issuing a confirmed job offer and entry visa along with air tickets?
Qatar's one of the reputed organization (they boast like that) 'Nehmeh Corporation' offered a managerial job after interviews and other selection procedures. Based on their offer letter I resigned my secured job from another country and was about to travel to Qatar and join them. Regrettably they cheated me last moment saying that they cancelled the employment proposal. They had issued travel visa and air tickets but rolled back at the last moment. I lost my best job and spoiled family life and ended with a career break and huge financial losses. Does these type of unethical practices exist in Qatar? If not where and how can approach for a justice? Could someone assist and please beware of this company before approaching for any employments.
it doesn't matter what your nationality is. Any offer letters I've seen have always been contingent on a visa being issued (or approved) by MoI. If they refuse to issue a visa - you are out of luck and it is not the potential employer's fault. Good luck suing no matter your nationality.
Dear it depends on your nationality.. If you are asian (citizenship) you can't do anything but if you have American or other western nationality definitely you can sue them and I am 100% sure that you can win the case. Nationality matters in this part of the world.
