Dear all,

I am on business Visa here in Qatar which is expiring by the end of this month. In the coming days I have to do 2 things

1. Apply to extend my current visa (that will be done through my contract company)

2. Apply for Dubai visa (have to do myself)as I have to Go to Dubai on 3rd Oct till 6th of Oct, that is right after end of this month.

I am looking for the information regarding

* How many days each of this procedure will take as I am not in position to miss any of both and there are also Eid Holidays coming

* What I need for Dubai Visa (e.g. permission from current employer, Any Invitation letter from Dubai company which I have to visit

* What will be procedure for applying for Dubai Visa and where I have to apply.

Thanks in Advance for your reply :)

Regards

Irfan Azher

Depends on the passport you hold..!!

also.. your profession, if u are already a resident of any GCC country u are eligible for on arrival visa.

1. Renewal of your current Business Visa of qatar will take one or two days maximum, but remember the long holidays for Governement Sector on Account of EID

2. Since you do not have a GCC residence Visa, Some one from your contact can arrange a Visit Visa from UAE. In UAE visit visa processing will take only half an hour, provided all documents are in perfect shape.

3. Or arrange to get an invitation letter from any company in Dubai and with that letter you can go to UAE Embassy in Qatar and can apply for a visit visa. It may cost maximum QR 150/- and is a question of one day.

4. Please note that you will not get visa on arrival on any airport in UAE.

If you are a European or a professinal with Qatar resident visa you will receive visa on arrival at Dubai.
