Dear All

Me and my family are living in Kuwait and have a valid Kuwaiti Residency visa. recently I got an offer from a Qatari Company and they have send me the " Work Visa for me and Tourist visa for my family so I can travel together with my family.
I dont wana cancel my kuwaiti visa till I settle my things in Doha.

my question is :

1-Can I stamp the Qatari Residency while I'm having my Kuwait Work Visa?

2- could I transfer my family's visit visas to a family visa with out cancelling the Kuwaiti Visa?

Need an urgent reply plz.
Regards

As similar question was discussed on QL sometime back, here what i have come to know:

1- dual residency is allowed as long as your work visa for other company hasn't been finalized...once it is done, you have to forego your OTHER RESIDENCY VISA..

2- your family can get the permanent residency of QATAR if you gets the valid RP first...

1) I recently hired an employee in a similar situation as yours, only his current visa is from UAE. Upon getting your new Qatar RP/visa finalized you will have to cancel the Kuwaiti one, there are no other options.

2) You cannot apply for a family visa until you have your Qatari RP. Your best scenario would be to bring them here under tourist (as suggested) and then switch it over.
