NO need to break your fasting. You just give the blood for medical and there will be no effect of it on urs fasting.

You need not break your fast if you need to give blood for medical tests.

Mostly, what they take from you is no more than 5-10 cc or ml which is not much. And usuallym, they ask you not to eat at least 6-8 hours before blood is extracted/take from you...

as I said, 5cc to 10 cc is enough to complete the whole blood examination from BLOOD CHEMISTRY, complete blood count (platelet, red blood cell(RBC)/white blood cell(WBC) counts) and even your blood sugar level.

So everything is ok...

Ibn Abbas said: "The Prophet was cupped while he was in the state of Ihram, and also while he was observing a fast." [Bukhari]

Anas Ibn Malik was asked whether they disliked the cupping for a fasting person. He replied in the negative and said, "Only if it causes weakness." [Bukhari]
