HI,

My mother in law is coming to doha on a visit visa from India. She is travelling on 19th Aug. While I was purchasing the ticket , I was told that  a return ticket is mandatory for the visitor. So  I purchased a return ticket also.

The booking clerk made the ticket on 19 th september.

Duration of the stay mentioned  on the visit visa is one month only .

As on 19th september the stay will be exceeded by one day.

Should it be a problem?

Should I prepone the date of return?

Please advise

I was in a similar situation and we spoke with the immigration officer at the airport, he said no problem for one or two days.   To be sure please check with the immigration officer at the airport.

I dont think its that simple. I was told to match the return ticket date within the 30 days period (by QA ticket booking staff). They said it could be a problem at the immigration if the return ticket is not as per the visa.

Anyways you seek further advise on this. I went on and changed the tickets 'cos i thought its better to avoid a risk on this.

Don't worry. One day excess is fine. Anyway she will be travelling on that day. One thing more you can extend her visit visa if you wish.
