Conversion of visit visa to family visa

I have qatar resident permit. I brought my family on visit in Dec 09. The visit visa is extended for another 5 months, so it is getting due in June 15. However we want to go for a short vacation to India during April. Is it possible to go India as my family is now on visit visa? If possible when can they come back. One of my friend said they can come back only after 6 months - is it correct?

Alternatively i have to apply for family visa. I have to prepare papers in that case now itself as there is hardly 1 1/2 months left.

u can apply for re-entry visa and they can go back with u and come to doha again on the same visa just to complete the duration of the visa (upto 15/6)

cost of re-entry visa is QR. 200 per passport.

If u don't do that,then u can apply again for 6 months visit after 90 days from the departure date.
