CID clearance .. Can I come on a Visit Visa to get one ?

Hello

I was recently (as many others0 been offered a good job and all went fine signed contract, but CID rejected for no reason.

I am Canadian Never been in Qatar ... My prospect employer said they Cant assist in these cases.

I have deadline to join by end of March orelse the contract would be void;
so knowing that I am clean and clear I dont think I can accept this as the end and hence lose a good job I ahve family to feed.

I called Qatari Embassy and they said I can get a visa upon arrival no problem, so my question:

has any one actually tried or know that this is even possible to come on a visit visa and take matters in your hand??

let us face it now one works harder for your benfit than yourself.
