Dears,
I went to Migrations office taking every document requested by them to apply for RP to my family. Getting all the documents took me about 3 months to be ready. I'm talking about for example the house rental contract attested by municipality, bank statement of last 6 months, diploma translated to arabic and attested by several institutions from my country and Qatar, etc, etc My familiy is already here since 5 months ago, so the next month their visit visa is expiring. When I showed the documents to qatari madam in there. She told me that my profession on my ID is not aceptable to get the RP, even tough I showed my diploma of Bsc of engineering. She told me I had the chance to change the profession on my ID going to Ministry of labour. I got back to my company's PRO and gave him the documents needed to change it, even the new work contract stating the new profession. The PRO has just called me and said I'm not able to change the profession until my RP expires, this will be at the end of October. As you can see, I really pissed off, because in order to save time getting my RP the last year I accepted the profession the company put in the contract and in that moment they said there wouldn't any problem by modification. What do you think should I do? I'm worried because my little son might lose the school half year.

My RP expires in October 6th and for sure will be renewed for one year more considering a new profession on my work contract. My family has to leave Qatar by September 25th (7 months visa). Does anyone know if new ID is immediately issued? If my family leaves Qatar, I have to wait for three months to apply again for their visa? please advice...
