Cancelling Work VISA for Qatar

I have a work VISA issued for me to travel to Qatar for a job. But due to some unforeseen problem i am not presently in a position to travel to Qatar and take up the job offered to me. At present the VISA issued to me would expire in the month of July. But probably i might travel to Qatar after somemonths if i again get a job, but surely not before the visa is expired (or in other words i will not be travelling with my present VISA). If i dont travel now and if the VISA gets expired due to me not showing up, will it be possible to obtain a VISA later when my situation improves, or due to me not showing up will there be a ban for my travel to Qatar in later days. Presently this VISA is sponsered by my employer and i am not sure will my sponsorer would help me in obtaining the VISA again later. I request advise from the forum on this issue which would be very helpful to take a decision.

I think the best thing for you to do is contact your sponsor and inform them that you won't be able to come to Qatar.

Dear Owis & hrscorp,

Thanks for the reply. I have one doubt which i though i will share with you to get your advise. Some of my friends in UAE informed that my VISA might be categorised as Absconding if i dont travel and this category means there will be a ban for future travel. Will this also be a case in Qatar or Not????

thanks

does not affect your situation at all weather you will be coming back for the same company or any other cmpanies, weather for work or visit

you can still come on a new visa with the same company. inability to travel in the period covered by the issued visa doesnt mean being banned to travel..

it is upon the discretion of your sponsor if they will be willing again to allot a visa for you.
