dear ,

i have some freinds like this situation and they are living happily and they are going to pak and india as well when ever they want to travel in current situations , visa is not a big deal in that , all is required both families approval and then u can go to islamic court and do nikkah but u both need 2 witness and father of girl and father of boy should go as well and u need id cards copies to be given the man there registering ur nikkah .

embassies have nothing to do with ur nikkah as long as u doing it here and after u can arrange her visa if u want to travel to india providing ur merrige certificate to indian embassy .

dont worry dear if both families are agree go ahead and get merried .

Wish u very good luck in ur future life .

If I am not mistaken, India and Pakistan was once a "One Country" not until after 1947 when they were separated from each other. So there is No Doubt that an Indian can marry a Pakistani (and vice versa)since they originated from the same land and have common ancestors. And it is not only between Indian and Pakistan. Any other different nationalities can marry each other if they will really want provided they Love each other or perhaps learn to love each other.

yes of course can marry, i have my friend indian who got married to pakistani girl, but the problem always persist when they want to travel, if the situvation is bad the Pakistani girl never gets the visa, so this is the most important fact to think about.

Guys...if you have come across any such live cases please share your views with me.

If you can provide me any such contacts it would be reallly great.

The buy and the gal both are Muslims, and ready to go ahead...

But, the issue is, in the context of ever worsening relationship between the two coutntries...

_ How about visa for the girl?

_ Will she be allowed to stay for long in India?

_ How about getting Indian Passport / citizenship for the girl after marriage?

_ Lastly, what are the official procedures and conditions for such a marriage in Qatar.

_ What will be the role of the consulates of the both of these countries?

Please comment.

** Consider my post based on the situation in Qatar **

Question # 1: Is guy a Muslim?

~ Depends on the Pakistani Girl's family. (Chances are less here in Qatar)

~ It also depends if the Boy's family have long terms relation with the Girl's family

~ No harm in marrying her but again its depend on the mentality of the two families how consevative they are.

Now clarify us the complete situation that whether the proposal has been sent already or not?

Yes, of course, provided they are both Muslim.
