can i still travel even my visa is nearly going to expired?

My visa is going to expired on september 27 2009 and i got an offered job in one of good companies here in doha but my problem is i am waiting for them to transfer my visa to there company but they said that they just waiting for a new contract so right now they dont know how long it will take to transfer my visa to them. Well my real question is can i still exit qatar even my visa is expired or im in 3 months duration to renew my visa., Because if the new company cannot give me a visa i will decide to go back to my country for good.
