Can I sposor my wife while she keeps her UAE visa

Hi, I relocated to Qatar and now working here for the past one month.

My wife is working in Dubai and will visit me frequently. Therefore I would like to obtain a Qatar resident visa for her under my sponsorship while she keeps her UAE visa and continues working there.

Is this possible. If there is anyone who had done this please let me know the procedure.

yes you can have both, until the Imigration Dept of Qatar knows about it.

Then its gonna be some how a problem and i knew some one who had to leave the country for breaking the law.

you may check with Img Dept they migh have changed there rule, which i really dought :)

Well my wife was holding a UAE resident visa and in 2003 she moved to Qatar with me and got a Qatar resident visa, we never canceled the UAE visa and it stayed valid till it expired as I did not plan to renew it she had 2 resident visas, we use to travel back and forth as we have family in the UAE also and we had no problems.
