Can i file a case against my employer for spoiling my career
By avaneesh214 •
I had reported a massive fraud in our company to Qatari POlice and the company cancelled my visa urgently and handed over me to deportation jail telling the CID that i have run away from employer whereas i was staying in their accomodation then.I was made to stay in deportation jail for 3 months and then one of my friend brought me out on bail.
Can i file a case against the company for spoiling my career/name and reputation?
File a case that's going to be you versus the company? i think you better move on, stay away from those people who teach u fraudulence.
t, excuse my ignorance... TIG is shorthand for?
TIG No
Sounds like you went out of a limb to unveil something that you thought was wrong, inappropriate, dishonest, or whatever. You've been a QL member for numerous weeks and have no points? Of course, you did lose at least 12 weeks while in lock up... Anyhow, maybe it would have been helpful to you if you had asked for advice from fellow QL members about blowing the whistle before you did. I'm not criticizing you for what you did. It takes a very strong person to put himself in what will likely become a touchy, contraverseal situation. In my many years, I finally learned that you have to decide if a 'hill' is worth dying on. Most of them are not. In the future you should weigh all the potential consequences of taking the role that you took. Sometimes it's just not worth the headache. Of course, hindsight is always 20/20. Maybe it is best to just move on. Forget about bringing a suit against the company. THAT will hurt you more in your quest for a new job than being a whistle blower will. Ethical companies will not deny you employment (if you're competent) because you called an unethical company out on its improper practices. And that the company you were working for was so quick to get rid of you only suggests that they had something to hide... Good luck to you.
