If u can get papers from ur comp,everything will finish within one month. I just changed my status to COMP.ENGINEER and applied for Wife RP,within a week I got it with the grace of GOD.

Dont worry and dont beleive on heresay.

Here are the steps:

First get the Application Form for Profession Change,

get your sponser sign & seal on that paper then goto Labour Dept(near to American Hosp) along with,

1) Sponser ID copy

2) Munciplaity Bill

3) Edu. Qual Copy (should be Transalted)

4) Bank Stmt(6 months)

5) Aggriment Contract (3 New) (newly printed)

6) Aggriment Contract (3 Old - Already signed)

7) Your PP , Visa and ID copy.

Submit this and get sign from officer he is sitting in 3rd Floor.

Once you got the sign goto the nearest office for attestaion of your contracts.( new 3). while attestation you have to pay 60 QR.

wait for another 10 days and got Immigration office(garaffa) and show your receipt from Labour by showing them the New Application for ID change with your photo.

Then go Buiding no: 1 and submit your application there, you have to pay 300 QR.

On the spot you will get your new ID and Visa sticker on your PP.

Mr. Rajesh, we cannot claim against the company about your probs because they might have tried to get your profession, may be labour dept granted ceramic tile visa. You can change profession in the RP, so u have to do the following

Type the application for Labour Dept. from any of the services/typing people.

Opena an account with bank and get letter to Labour Dept, you are holding a/c with that bank, if you say to bank they could issue it same time,,they knows the content of the letter,,,

Meantime, take 3 copies of your original certificate to indian embassy (original must be produced the time of attestation) after the attestation get another attestation from Foreigh affair near meusem round about, all this can be done by your PRO..

Then a letter from company showing your salary and no objection for changing the present profession to engineer also the Employment Contract with Engineer profession.

Then, you have to submit all those papers to Labour Dept, they will verify the same time and will ask you pay 60 riyals for labour agreement attestation,,after 2 days to u have to go to Immigration in 1st floor to check the status,,they will you the staus paper, if it is approved, you can take to building no.1 with your old ID and original passport...the same time u have to pay 200/- for new id,,,,,it cost total around 400+

These employers are known for tactics like this and in the absence of legal support people become virtual slaves. That is how middle east has developed, drenched in the sweat and tears of millions of Asians.

1. You need a salary certificate

2. A bank statement showing your salary at least for a few months.

3.A letter from the company recommending a family visa. You need to go with your PRO and get an appointment for an interview regarding family visa.

If the company refuses to co operate just get another job, there are plenty of companies looking for qualified people.

I have a Labourer Visa but I have My Family here. It took 4 days only for our PRO guy to get me Family Visa. I st gave him The Marriage Cert, Passport Copy and 3 months Bank statements. (He was intrcted to arranged my family Visa within 1 week by My Sponcer)

i am working as a engineer only. when i asked my company they told we are not having engineer visas so they told we apllied for this. and when i asked them to change thay said it is not possible to do like that. and they said this was not a problem..

i already gone through medical also and waiting for finger prints... please advise

If you think it is a mistake by the company, then your company can change your job title in your RP with few days. Once your job title is in line with your profession then you can apply for your wife visa.

Note that salary is also a criteria for the family visa in Immigration.

Push your Company HR or PRO to ammend your job title in RP.

You wife must be working lady then you can try her to get Sponsor Like Qatar Airways

I know several ladies who are under QR sponsorship bcos their husbands cannot get family visa

You should have signed the contract without family status.

It all depends on your salary ,do you have a bank account where your company deposits salry every month. Try to build a case for your self, and also push your PRO to get the designation changed. I don't know my friend, what are u exactly in this company? engineer? why did your company give u that RP? in your job offer/contract, are u allowed to bring your family or not? if yes, just ask them about this. I took care my visa for my family by my own at labor department. they will conduct an interview and will ask you about your salary. I heard that time, u got to have minimum QR 5000/month and also whether u have a good accommodation or not, etc etc. I got the visas after a long 4 months finally.

My wife is masters degree holder.
