bringing my wife to qatar

hi everyone

now i know this question must have been asked a number of times but i am really confused and want the latest info so it would be great if you guys could help....
i am getting married soon and plan to bring my wife to Qatar asap...now as far as my knowledge goes there are 2 ways of doing it:
1. apply directly for her resident permit - in this case the visa would come in around 1-2 weeks and once she is here medical and fingerprinting would have to be done
2. i can bring her on a personal visit visa for 1 month and apply for RP once she is here for which i think i will 1st have to go to the labor deptt and then she would have to get her medical & fingerprinting done

i would want to go with the 2nd option as she wants to come here asap.....kindly advise if there are any hassles in doing it this way.....thanks

No problem with option..2...you can bring her in b. visa. you can convert to rp by giving Qr.500. But tell her to come with all attested documents.

I did option 1 and she was here in a week (provided all your documents are in order)

option no. 2 is the best way if the wife is not here in doha... there'll be no hassle as long as you meet all the requirements to apply a visa...

I am planning on doing option 2 in a couple of weeks. The HR in my company said this was the best way.
