hello everyone,

thank you very much for helping & giving me a good advise on my first post...it realy helps me a lot....i already buy a 2 way ticket and im just waiting for my wife till she comes.

now, i just want to know how & what is the best thing to do if her residence visit visa will expire for 3 months...

our plan is to find a good work opportunity for her.

my question is if she finds a job, do we only have to extend the visit visa for 6 months?

or we can convert it to working visa if she finds a good job?

please help & enlighten us...

thank you very much.....

Dude were in thesame boat..!!transfering her visa to her employer is GOOD as  long as the company is GOOD, but if you are qualified to apply for family visa for your wifer then dont think twice if not try to use the remaining months so she can deal with a better offer. Me im planning to transfer her visa under my sposorship..so she can have a freedom to choose a good employer..better you do  thesame.

hayk kik kik kik.... SALAMAT

Hey,

Of course she can transfer visit visa to working, Why not?

We'll one thing to cosider at times it depends on the company who's willing to take her. But as I've told you take a look at the company profile.... If good definitley she'll land to have a good future in getting a working permit here...Normally a Company who is willing to employ applicant the process will be systematic. In case that it's not then don't trust because it may only lead to expiration and then waiting to be transfered for nothing.

i believe that it is best that she be under husband sponsorship even if she finds a job here... requirements of which, please do read on this.. we arrange some sticky notes for easy reference.. http://www.qatarliving.com/group/filipino-expatriates-in-qatar

Hi,

If your wife finds job prior to the expiration of her visit visa then they only have to transfer her visa. The question is? If the new sponsor has a ready visa for her. You have to be very particular when it comes to trasfering visas and the companys' reputation. it's very important to take this into consideration before she indulge herself just to have a job....

I hope this helps you enlighten a little bit...

Have a nice weekend!!

yes but on the employer sponsership... better you get in on ur sponser which will be benificial.. she can leave any time and come back and find and change any job after wards also but company sponser you cannot.. instead you (ur wife) can be packed any time and cannot change to other unless realease letter..
